Have you ever drawn a face and thought, “Something is just not right!”? Learn the proportions of a portrait and create an artwork of yourself or someone close to you.

In Hyde House, the Museum has tapestries with mysterious scenes. What is the story behind them? What kind of mixed-up animals are there? We will find out, then create mysterious weavings in the Art Studio.

Dox Thrash invented the Carborundum Mezzotint process. It is a type of printmaking in which the light areas are wiped from a dark ground. We will use the subractive painting technique to further examine Thrash’s printmaking method.
