As we emerge from this last, very unusual year and look ahead to the Summer of 2021, there is so much to celebrate here at The Hyde Collection. We owe much of our resiliency to the incredible base of supporters and volunteers that have stood beside us in recent months. The 2021 Summer Luncheon gives occasion now to celebrate such people who, through their service, embody the legacy of Mrs. Hyde to promote and cultivate the arts and education throughout Glens Falls and surrounding communities. This year, we honor Edith Brown Astruc and Sally Bixby Defty, longtime members and dedicated volunteers.
On Monday, July 26, The Hyde will host this year’s Luncheon at the beautiful Inn At Erlowest, which offers stunning views of Lake George and a chance for our community to come together once again. And, while the Summer Luncheon—held annually to recognize the late Charlotte Miller’s commitment to the arts—gives us the opportunity to applaud the significant impact of our volunteers, it also helps sustain The Hyde Collection in our work to offer thought-provoking exhibitions and community-strengthening education programs, and to care for our world-class art collection. We hope you will support the Museum by joining us this Summer!
