New Acquisitions On View

With its two recent acquisitions from the 2021 Artists of the Mohawk Hudson Region exhibition, The Hyde Collection has added two regional artists to its roster of renowned artists: Victoria van der Laan, and Scott Brodie. The current exhibition hangs their work in dialogue with works from the permanent collection and explores how each artist simultaneously pushes the boundaries of their genres (respectively textile art and still life painting), while working within an established tradition.
