Ages 8-12 

 Using kinetic artworks by artist George Rickey on view at the museum, students will explore movement and emotions in this workshop. Participants will create a colorful individual pinwheel and large-scale collaborative sculpture that will remain on display in The Hyde Collections’ Butterfly Garden in this workshop. This workshop will be co-taught by Erin Gartley, licensed mental health counselor and Hyde Collection educator Toni Nastasi.  

 Erin Gartley is a person-centered trauma informed therapist who predominantly works with children to help them recognize their own abilities, capabilities and be the “best human” they can be.
