Join instructor Tom Russell from Dance Fire Studios for an introduction to a variety of dance styles including Latin and rhythm. This dance class will be enjoyed in the Rotunda of The Hyde Collection’s education complex and will include conversation about the rich history of dance as an artform and inspiration for artists such as Edgar Degas. Singles and couples are encouraged to register! Don’t miss many of Degas’ dancer artworks on display in the fall exhibitions Edgar Degas, The Private Impressionist: Works on Paper by the Artis and his Circle and Degas at The Hyde: A Master of Form.

Dance Fire Studios was founded in 2017 by Florin Vlad and Natalia O’Connor Vlad with locations in Niskayuna and Saratoga Springs, New York. Florin and Natalia have won numerous ballroom dance titles and have achieved the prestigious honor of being crowned U.S. Professional Ballroom Champions. Their talents have also taken them to international competitions, where they have shone as World Cup Finalists, leaving audiences in awe across the globe.
