Join us for an ACE! sponsored Glens Falls Arts District Street Festival. Out on the street we will have a celebration of Glens Falls Arts and Culture including an interactive thought piece by The Hyde Collection, live plein air painting by North Country Arts, a ‘Folk Life’ Exhibition preview by the Crandall Library, a visit for the Cool Insuring Arena Mascot, Tastings with Mean Max Brew Works and Springbrook Distilling and a full-blown beer garden highlighting regional beverages by Doc’s Restaurant. Followed by a panel discussion featuring a selection of professionals from around the region that will explore organizational synergies that allow for placemaking innovation that builds community and sustainability including FOR PROFIT and NOT FOR PROFIT businesses and institutions. This will be kicked off by a short update by Mayor Bill Collins on the Market Center, a downtown community redevelopment project.
