The Hyde Collection Announces High School Juried Show Winners

GLENS FALLS, NY – The Hyde Collection is thrilled to announce the winners of the highly anticipated 34th annual High School Juried Show. This spring exhibition is an extraordinary platform for budding student artists across Warren, Washington, Saratoga, Hamilton, and Essex
counties to showcase their talent and immerse themselves in a professional, competitive arts environment.The High School Juried Show, which will be on view at the Museum April 12 through May 18, 2025, with a satellite installation at Glens Falls Hospital from May 2 through June 2, 2025, is one of the nation’s longest-running annual events of its kind. It spotlights the works of dozens of outstanding regional artists. This year, The Hyde received over 600 artwork submissions from 292 students representing 18 regional schools.
Winners were announced on Saturday, April 12, at the opening reception in The Helen Froehlich Auditorium. Awards were presented to the following students:
Best in Show: Brandy Boyce, South Glens Falls High School, “Cemented Doves”
Curator’s Award: Dylan Ferrara, Saratoga Springs High School, “Armoire”
Curator’s Award: Emily Lyng, Whitehall Jr Sr High School, “A Bug’s Life”
Juror’s Award: Eleanor Paigo, Queensbury High School, “Mellow”
Juror’s Award: Elsie-Anna Williams, Saratoga Springs High School, “When We Get Along”
Juror’s Award: Maya Rosko, Saratoga Springs High School, “Cranes”
North Country Arts Award: Estella Kvinlaug, Cambridge Junior & Senior High School, “The
Rabbit Hole”North Country Arts Award: Elizabeth Stevens, Glens Falls High School, “Central Park”
North Country Arts Award: Madeline Buck, Queensbury High School, “Multiplicity”
North Country Arts Award: Theresa Richter, Saratoga Springs High School, “Front Page Feline”
North Country Arts Award: Felicity Lilac, South Glens Falls High School, “Radiant Shapes”
The Visitor’s Choice Award will be awarded at the conclusion of the exhibition. Winners will receive one of the following; scholarships for art classes at SUNY Adirondack or a gift of
membership at North Country Arts. The Hyde Collection is open Thursday through Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm.
