Glens Falls, NY—The Hyde Collection is excited to announce the lineup for its 2025 exhibition season. The Museum will showcase renowned and emerging artists in a series of exhibitions that traverse painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed-media installations. These exhibitions reflect The Hyde’s commitment to celebrating diverse artistic voices and exploring cultural and historical intersections.
“The 2025 exhibition season at The Hyde Collection reflects our commitment to fostering an environment where art serves as a bridge between cultures, histories, and ideas. We’re honored to present exhibitions that resonate with audiences from many backgrounds, sparking both contemplation and connection,” said John Lefner, Hyde Collection CEO.
Derin Tanyol, Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, continued, “Our 2025 season reveals the divergent paths of contemporary art-making, from Odili Donald Odita’s complex, color-driven dialogue to the kinetic elegance of George Rickey’s sculptures. With shows highlighting both international and regional artists, we’re proud to make working artists relevant to our visitors in a new way.”
“It’s a privilege to showcase historical women artists who have frequently been overlooked. A Feast of Fruit and Flowers features women painters from the seventeenth century and highlights the contributions they made to the genre of still life painting,” states Bryn Schockmel, Curator of the Permanent Collection and Related Exhibitions. “Exhibitions on view concurrently by contemporary artists Nina Katchadourian and Sharon Core, who take a modern approach to still life, underscore the enduring impact of artistic innovation across time.”
