Premiere Summer Exhibition Opening
Songs of the Horizon: David Smith, Music, and Dance
June 24, 10 am – 5 pm
Explore the work of artist David Smith (1906-1965) whose drawings, paintings, and sculptures were inspired by music, dance, and the Adirondack region. View the exhibition and register for the exhibition tour with guest curator Dr. Jennifer Field or the discussion with Smith’s daughters.

Art After Hours
June 15 at 5 – 8 pm (Film Screening & Figure Drawing)
6 pm: Join local film makers Christopher Gaunt and Kayla Romanowski for a public premiere of the short film A Lasting First Impression. A conversation with film makers and actors will directly follow the screening.
5:30 pm: Learn essential techniques and practice your hand at drawing from a live model with artist John Hampshire.

Youth Dance Class
July 27-28 at 12 pm – 4 pm
Students will explore basic Graham technique and learn a dance in the style of Graham which will be included in the public performance on July 28.

Museum Guided Tours
Guided tours of Hyde House and special exhibitions are available on the second Thursday of each month and alternating Saturdays and Sundays from 1-3 pm. Tours on these days are included with your Museum admission.
