Group Tours
Choose to tour the historic house and former home of Museum founders Louis and Charlotte Hyde, one of our special exhibitions, or both! Hyde House tours highlight the significant collection of European and American art displayed amongst Italian Renaissance and 18th century French antique furnishings.
Our trained docents make tours both interesting and informative.
Tours can be scheduled during museum hours, the last tour beginning at 2:30pm. Other things you will need to know:
-
Reservations for groups or motor coach tours are required and should be made at least one month in advance.
-
The cost for group tours is $6 per person and require a minimum of eight people per group. Two complimentary tour admissions are provided for the driver and escort of motor coach tours.
-
Average tour time is one hour for Hyde House or a special exhibition, or 1.5 hours for tours of both, but can be adapted to suit your time-frame; leave time to visit the Museum grounds including our Butterfly Garden, as well as The Museum Store.
-
Convenient bus parking
-
The Hyde Collection is a museum complex as well as a historic home and because of this, two rooms are not accessible by wheelchair or walker.
