FAMILY DISCOVERY DAY - The Last Sunday of Every Month!
Get to know Mr. and Mrs. Hyde and their friends: Rembrandt, Picasso, Renoir, and others! Families are invited to explore new aspects of the Museum's permanent collection and temporary exhibitions through an exciting self-guided, interactive program. Enjoy the Museum at your own pace and discover art, culture, and history as a family. Pick up your Discovery Day materials at the lobby information desk - FREE of charge!
ARTFULL AFTERNOONS
A Drop-in program each Wednesday throughout the school year for children ages 3-12 with adult chaperone. Each week children are invited to visit The Hyde Collection to learn about a specific artist and work of art from the Museum's permanent collection. Children will explore a variety of atistic mediums as they create their own Hyde-inspired masterpiece. FREE and open to the public. Sponsored by Stewart's Shops.

The Family Legacy Book Club: A Vacation Workshop
The Hyde's summer vacation workshop for children will focus on the concepts of family, legacy, and tradition. Children will discover the exhibition A Glens Falls Legacy: The Pruyn Family along with books to help them learn more about their family roots and make connections with the past and oral history through storytelling, books, and artwork. Fee: FREE for family membership holders; $110 for not-yet members.
