GRANT AWARDED TO HYDE SUPPORTS PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN
GLENS FALLS, NY - The Hyde Collection was recently awarded general operating support from the New York Council on the Arts (NYSCA) in the amount of $15,000/year for five years. The funding will help the Museum continue to present exceptional exhibitions and programs to the greater Capital Region. Exhibitions such as the upcoming Rocroft Legacy and educational programming offered to children unltimately benefit from NYSCA’s general operating expense.
The New York State Council on the Arts awards over 2,700 grants each year to arts organizations in every arts discipline throughout the state. This year, NYSCA has granted millions of dollars to bring high-quality artistic programs to the citizens of the state through supporting the activities of nonprofit arts and cultural organizations. The Hyde Collection is proud that NYSCA has continued to support the Museum’s activities.
