The Hyde Hires Susan Pruiksma as New Financial Manager

imageThe Hyde Collection is pleased to announce that it has hired Susan Pruiksma as its Financial Manager. In this role, Pruiksma will oversee all of the Museum's financial operations including annual budgets, outside audits, accounting, and purchasing activity. In addition to bookkeeping, Pruiksma will be responsible for developing and coordinating account and statistical data for all departments, monitoring the Museum’s financial position, and reporting to the Director, Finance Committee, and Board of Trustees.     

Pruiksma comes to The Hyde from the Saratoga Rowing Association, where she served as Business Manager since 2010. Between 2005 and 2015, she also worked as Bookeeper for the Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council (LARAC), where she gained an appreciation for arts and culture community in Glens Falls. Her wealth of experience includes all aspects of finance and business management.   

"Susan is a perfect fit. We are thrilled that she's joining The Hyde's team," noted Erin Coe, Director of the Museum. "She's a talented and multi-faceted business professional who brings with her 15 years of experience in all areas of financial management. We're lucky to have her back here in Glens Falls."

A Washington Country native, Pruiksma lives in Argyle, New York. She is a graduate of Adirondack Community College, with a degree in Business Administration. 

Pruiksma starts work at the Museum on August 8.
