Citigroup/Smith Barney Supports Hyde With Grant

Glens Falls, NY – The Hyde Collection announces the receipt of a $5,000 grant from the Glens Falls branch of Smith Barney. The funds were donated through Citigroup Foundation as part of the firm’s Local Contributions Program conducted at Smith Barney branches across the country. Randall Suffolk, director of the Museum, commented, "The Hyde Collection is pleased that a global business like Citigroup/Smith Barney has continually recognized our commitment to the greater Glens Falls community. The funds will be used to support the Museum’s School Programs, which reaches nearly 5,000 students annually from over 30 school districts." This financial support from Smith Barney will help the The Hyde Collection continue to meet its mission.

"We are glad to support organizations that have a meaningful impact in the areas where we live and work," said Sandra Butler. Ms. Butler, Branch Manager of Smith Barney’s Glens Falls office, headed the initiative and selection process on behalf of Smith Barney.

Smith Barney’s Local Contributions Program was designed to enable the firm’s branches to forge partnerships with the communities they serve through a combination of financial contributions and hands-on employee involvement.
