LADIES AND GENTLEMEN...Prepare for the event of the season!
Save the date of Saturday, May 7, 2005 from 6 to 11PM, when The Hyde Collection and Honorary Event Chairs, Charles and Candace Wait, will present the Museum’s annual spring fundraiser, Cirque de Soirée. A unique version of the popular and highly entertaining Cirque du Soleil, this special event will offer acrobatic feats, artistic dance, enchanting song, illusion, humor, rare talents, and much, much more. The Hyde is pleased to announce that Benita Zahn, WNYT News Channel 13 anchor will serve as Master of Ceremonies and Ringleader throughout the surreal le cirque experience. The Glens Falls Armory, Warren Street, Glens Falls (next door to the Museum) will serve as the "big top", expertly transformed with the help of Adirondack Scenic, Inc.
A per person price of $150 includes continuous entertainment, a full open bar, delicious hors d’oeuvres, and a four-course authentic French dinner prepared and uniquely presented by Black Diamond Caterers of Saratoga Springs. Guests 35 years of age and younger are offered a junior price of $135. Live and silent auctions of unique items will take place at the event.
All proceeds from Cirque de Soirée will support world-class exhibitions and programs through The Hyde Collection’s annual fund.
