Hyde, LARAC present watercolor workshops

On Tuesday through Friday, August 17 – 20, 2010,The Hyde Collection will host “Celebrating Watercolor”, workshops for beginner and intermediate adult watercolor students. The sessions are offered in conjunction with LARAC@Hyde and will be conducted by local artist Tom Ryan.

Two sessions will be held in order to focus on techniques for beginners and those with some experience with watercolor. The beginners classes will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, the 17th and 18th, from 10 am to 12:30 pm. On Thursday and Friday, the 19th and 20th, the Beyond Beginner sessions will address the intermediate student and will also be held from 10 am to 12:30 pm.

The workshops are offered as part of Wyeth-related events at the Museum in conjunction with The Hyde’s summer exhibition Andrew Wyeth: An American Legend.

Each two-class session is $72 for Hyde or LARAC members and $80 for all others. Reservations are required and can be made by calling LARAC at 518-798-1144.
