Hyde Announces Museum Hours

Glens Falls, NY - The Hyde Collection, Glens Falls, announces Museum hours effective January 1, 2004. The Museum complex will be open to the general public year-round Tuesday through Saturday 10AM to 5PM, and Sunday 12 NOON to 5PM; closed on Mondays and National holidays. Admission is FREE. The Museum's education wing offers changing world-class exhibitions in the Charles R. Wood Gallery, Hoopes Gallery, and Rotunda Gallery. Special performances and educational programs are scheduled throughout the year in the Helen Froehlich Auditorium and the Louis P. Brown Art Studio. The Hyde Collection is a historic house and modern art museum complex that combines the heritage of the Adirondack Region with a distinguished permanent collection consisting of works by European old and modern masters and American artists, important decorative arts and antique furnishings. In addition, the Museum provides changing exhibitions in four gallery spaces, lectures, concerts, family activities and school programming as well as a Museum Shop. Admission free with voluntary donations accepted. The Hyde Collection is a publicly supported, non-governmental institution located at 161 Warren Street, Glens Falls, New York.
