One hundred works from nearly eighty area high school art students will be exhibited as part of The Hyde Collection’s Fifteenth Annual Regional Juried High School Art Exhibition from Sunday, April 30 through Sunday, May 28, 2006. The exhibition, sponsored by Tribune Media Services, is an exciting showcase of talent and creativity by art students in grades 9-12 from southern Essex, Warren, Washington, and northern Saratoga Counties. This unique show allows participating students to experience the preparation, submission, and jurying process crucial to their artistic development.
Approximately twenty school districts submitted over 900 works on jury day. The selected works, including drawings, paintings, jewelry, ceramics, metal work, photography, and electronic media will be featured in the Museum’s Charles R. Wood Gallery.
