Modern Nature: Georgia O'Keeffe and Lake George
Location: Wood Gallery
The Hyde Collection, in association with the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, is organizing a first-of-its-kind exhibition that will closely examine the extraordinary body of work created by O’Keeffe of and at Lake George. From 1918 until the mid 1930s, O’Keeffe (1887-1986) spent part of the year at Alfred Stieglitz’s family estate, a thirty-six acre property situated just north of Lake George village in the southern basin of the lake. The exhibition will present a selection of fifty-eight paintings from both public and private collections.

2013 Artists of the Mohawk-Hudson Region
Location: Wood Gallery
The Hyde Collection will present the 2013 Artists of the Mohawk-Hudson Region exhibition in the fall of 2013. Artists living within a 100-mile radius of the Capital District and The Hyde Collection have had the opportunity to submit work for consideration by the juror, Dan Cameron. Approximately forty to fifty artists will be chosen for the exhibition to be held in Wood Gallery.

In Lane's lyrical and funny play set on Lake George, Max is making a film about artists Georgia O'Keeffe and Arthur Stieglitz. When his estranged grandfather shows up, Max and his mom clash as the teen uncovers his parents' past. A contemporary new tale incorporating local history with a modern twist. A world premiere play commissioned by Adirondack Theatre Festival. Contains some adult language and themes. Part of The Hyde's "My Summer Place" programming. Ticket prices range from $25 to $40.
