Family Kits

imageThe Hyde now offers our visitors with children a new way to explore the Museum. Specially designed to enhance discussion about what children see when touring Hyde House, our Family Kits provide an opportunity for an interactive self-guided tour for the entire family.

Families can borrow the colorful kits free of charge at the Program Desk in the Museum foyer and use them to learn more about visiting a museum and about different ways to view and enjoy what they see.

The Family Kits are part of additions to the Museum's visitor experience options and were produced in conjunction with The Hyde's Engaging Communities Project. Other enhancements to the Museum's offerings include the orientation video that plays in the lower level rotunda and self-guided audio tours.
