Louis Fiske Hyde (1866-1934) developed his own niche as a book collector. This exhibition featured a selection of rare books from his library as well as some of his most notable purchases: a copy of The Nuremburg Chronicle, a first edition of The Last of the Mohicans, and illustrations by the British artist George Cruikshank (1792-1878).
